ABF - Classic Banjos

Sorry if you missed the Spring Rally. It was an excellent meeting and showcased a lot of Alfred Cammeyer music. Drew Frech and friends, Becky Schneider and Gail Verbridge, gave two outstanding concerts.
The round robin playing also presented a lot of Cammeyer music. Combined, we heard more than forty Cammeyer numbers during the rally. Those of us who were not familiar with his music got a thorough exposure to the complex banjo music of this famous composer.

Banjo Orchestra: The orchestra conductors have not finalized the program, but we expect to play Tim Mainland's arrangements of the Dobson Dances and Variations on a Theme by Morley. If you need parts, please let me know.

Spring Rally - advance notice: The spring rally is planned for May 19-21, 2011 at the Genetti Hotel in Williamsport, PA. The theme is "Music of Emile Grimshaw.
